Samson Dauda opens 2026 with his first arms workout of the new year, giving a clear look at where his offseason stands and where it is headed. Filmed on New Year’s Day, the video shows Dauda already deep into a size-building phase, sitting around 340 pounds, the heaviest bodyweight of his career so far.

He explains that this weight feels far more manageable than expected. Improved sleep with CPAP use, regular sauna sessions, and better control of water retention have made daily movement and joint comfort easier. The plan is simple and aggressive. Push bodyweight as high as possible, ideally toward the mid-350s, then hold that size for an extended period before starting contest prep later in the year.

Before training, Dauda walks through his current pre-gym meal, about 400 grams of rice with 250 grams of chicken breast. He notes this is a shift from his usual pasta-based meal and reflects small adjustments being made to support digestion, performance, and recovery.

The arm workout itself is steady and controlled, with the focus placed on balanced growth rather than reckless loading. Dauda emphasizes that gaining mass only matters if it spreads evenly across the physique, giving him more quality muscle to work with once dieting begins.

The video also includes a major update outside the gym. Dauda confirms his long-term sponsorship with Hostile officially ended on January 1, 2026. After five years with the brand, both sides agreed to move in different directions. He expresses gratitude for the support he received throughout his rise and shares that discussions with new supplement companies are already in progress.

The session closes with optimism and intent. With more time at home and a full year to refine his body, Dauda makes it clear that 2026 is about patience, precision, and building a stronger foundation for the stage ahead.
