IFBB Pro bodybuilder Samson Dauda takes viewers inside a focused chest and calves workout as he prepares for one of bodybuilding’s biggest weekends, the Arnold Classic in Ohio. Filmed in the UK near the end of February, the session shows how elite bodybuilders maintain intensity even during a busy travel schedule.

Although Dauda is not competing at the Arnold this year, he is still deep in training and will attend the expo to meet fans. His relaxed approach reflects the off-season mindset, building strength, refining muscle balance, and staying consistent in the gym.

Offseason Progress and Bodyweight Goals

During the session, Dauda trains with Anthony, who is currently pushing his offseason growth. Anthony has gained around 6–7 kilograms (roughly 13–15 pounds) in just a few weeks by following the same training structure. The goal is steady progress toward the 100-kilogram bodyweight milestone, a number many bodybuilders chase early in their careers as a symbol of serious muscle development.

Dauda also talks about his own weight progression. Sitting comfortably around 300–350 pounds in the offseason, he explains that his body has adapted to the heavier size. Early stiffness from the weight gain has faded, and he now feels more mobile and comfortable at that level.

Chest and Calves Workout Focus

The workout centers on classic bodybuilding principles.

Key training points from the session include:

• High-volume pressing movements to fully activate the chest • Controlled repetitions to keep tension on the muscle • Partner motivation to push past failure • Multiple sets to drive blood into the chest and calves • Constant focus on form, positioning, and muscle contraction

Throughout the workout, the athletes push each other through long sets and forced reps. The emphasis stays on intensity and effort, with the mindset that quitting is not an option.

Staying Consistent Before a Big Event

Even though Dauda is not competing at the Arnold Classic this year, his schedule remains busy. He plans to appear at both the Celsius and MyProtein booths during the expo, giving fans a chance to meet him and talk bodybuilding.

For Dauda, sessions like this are about maintaining momentum. Offseason training builds the muscle and conditioning that eventually show up on stage. Each workout adds another layer to the physique that fans see under the lights.

Bodybuilding success rarely comes from one dramatic session. It comes from thousands of workouts like this one, heavy sets, strong partners, and relentless consistency inside the gym.
