Hey man, congrats on those squats, 5 sets 5 should work wonders!

Yup, 5x5 is a really good routine

Today's shoulder, chest, triceps session:

Seated ohp

8 @ 45
6 @ 90
6 @ 132
6x2 @ 138
6 @ 110

Incline db press

6 @ 33
6 @ 50
6x2 @ 68

Armwrestling in CC

20x3 @ 20

Rotator cuff work

Close grip bench

8 @ 45
6 @ 110
10 @ 155
8 @ 155
6 @ 155 > 9 @ 110

Really short rest between the sets and I tried 10 after the last set with 155 but I failed.

Pushdowns

6x3 @ 75

Lateral db raises

6x3 @ 33

Comment: good session. My triceps were dead after the close grip bench, they still hurt

hey nice to see a baseball player in here. Maybe I missed this, but I couldnt find where you said what position you play? That helps a lot to know in baseball about the type of training you should be doing.

P.S.- when you come to the states they A organizations have a lot of open try outs where they will allow anyone who atleast looks like they have talent to go out, you should try one of those.

No, you're correct I haven't said what position I play.. I wanna be an outfielder but I play catcher and pitcher in Sweden.. Do you know what type of training is good for outfielders? That'd be sweet.

Yeah that's what I think Im gonna do, actually me and my dad met a scout from the boston red sox once when we were practicing and he gave me a lot of names and numbers and shit.. he even said that I had a good arm and that I needed to play for a team :D

I was a catcher and pitcher myself. My dad was a coach so I grew up around baseball and didnt' switch to football till my junior year of high school. Now days for outfeilders the scouts are looking for the new protege athletes. The guys that are all-around players, but the two biggest things are speed and power at the plate. If you can run a good 60 that will say a lot on its own to the scouts for baseball.

Another big thing is to make sure when you hit in front of scouts in the states to transfer. Griffey is the best for this. When you hit you want to finish somewhat forward thats the weight transfer, they really look for that because they feel if you have that, they won't have to teach you much. One of my good friends is in AA ball right now.

PS- invest in a cheap bucket and fill it up with rice. Nolan Ryan started this. Stick your hands in and work them around different ways, squeezing the rice and stuff. It really strengthens your hands and forearms.
