Staying lean while keeping my hard-earned muscle is my biggest focus during this cut.

What’s up, guys! I’m working on getting leaner without sacrificing my gains. Any advice from those who’ve been through a long cutting phase?

I’d also keep cardio at a level you can actually maintain. No need to suddenly do tons of cardio if a few extra steps and a small calorie adjustment are already working.

Protein and sleep, man. Everyone focuses on cardio but forgets recovery. I’d rather cut slower and keep my lifts up than get shredded and feel weak.

Mate, patience is everything during a long cut. Make sure you're getting enough protein, sleeping well and keeping your calories reasonable.

It's tempting to speed things up but preserving muscle takes time.

Long cuts are basically a test of how much you can love chicken and rice, so stock up on spices and make friends with your food scale.

yeah this is what i'd be worried about too.. i feel like cutting too aggressively just makes training miserable and your lifts start suffering. keeping protein up, continuing to train hard, and not rushing the scale seems like the way to go dude

Hey. Dont cut calories too aggressively. Slow fat loss is better than losing muscle along the way

keep the weights heavy and don’t drop your protein, that’s what saved my gains on my last cut. i stopped chasing a fast scale drop and just let it come off slow. how big is your deficit rn?
