Matthias Steiner won the Olympic gold medal in the men’s +105kg weightlifting yesterday. Next year he will meet his compatriot Arnold Schwarzenegger who also began as a weightlifter, before he became a bodybuilder and an actor. Steiner thinks there are a lot characteristics he has in common with the Governor of California. "Arnold, too, had to break out of Austria. I am similarly crazy like him."

To his fans' surprise and disappointment he officially announced in a letter read via National Iranian Television that he has accepted the advice.[2] The next day he wrote another public letter announcing his retirement from professional weightlifting.
