I know this is not BB, but is the only exciting thing going on with this whole virus situation that shutdown the entire world.

As you may know Hafthor Bjornsson was going to compete in April at the 2020 WUS Dubai and attempt to lift the 501kg Deadlift record there - https://musclemecca.com/showthread.php?t=244161&p=3252276

The original and creative idea, in my opinion, from the guys running the WUS federation, came up with this live stream, a judge there in the gym with Thor and his team (max 15-16 people) and another judge online - it will be Zydrunas Savickas if I'm not mistaken.

Then after this, till July or so many more record attempts will follow in different events: log lift, circus DB for reps, 800lbs bench press by Julius Maddox etc.

Kinda strange tho, not as fast as Eddie's 465kg from 2016, and judging by this speed, as of now I am not that sure he will hit the 501.

Eddie might have more experience than Thor though, but if Thor slims down to a lean 170-180kg (375-400lbs) which is still huge lol, I think he can win, since he has the height advantage and all:
