Ok guys, sorry I just woke up. Jay and all the crew went to the Weider banquet and at Jay's after party at Club Prive in the Planet Hollywood Casino.

First of all, I know many people here were Jay fans and I'm aware of it, for those of Jay that never stop believing in Jay, he truly does appreciate it. For him, this whole Olympia was about redemption, proving to his fans and to the doubters that at only 36, he is still the champion that he was before.
His family and close friends such as myself, we knew all along, we have been called delusional and crazy many times by a lot of people either in person or online (Cormier even has a name for Team Cutler members, "The Jaybirds") which I think is hilarious, I actually like it. But today, we are nothing but delusional, today we were right and all the people that had turned their back on Jay and doubted that he could be on top again (including very close friends that he personally helped many times) are now all kissing his butt and want a piece of the glory of course.
Oh we all knew you could do it! Is what he is hearing a lot of now.

One thing is for sure, this past year Jay has found out who is real friends are.

Good job Max and Jay. Well done Storm and Line for taking it like men and paying up.

Was a nice thread just before the Olympia

I'm glad Jay changed his mind about retiring young. Do you know the reason, Dave?

Yes, he loves the sport, the fans and the fact that many people sees him as a role model, plus on top of that he's making bank! lol

Out of curiosity, is there any reason why he seemed more, well, gracious this year in the days before the Olympia in comparison to priors? This year his projected outlook seemed more focused on being thankful to the fans that he has than it was on going out and dominating the competition. I find that admirable.

Dave while I didn't have a bet with you, I was one of the knockers. I did have Jay top 3, but didn't see this coming. I think you can pass on a heap of respect for what Jay has done this year from all the knockers.

I had no doubt in my mind Jay could bring it, I just didn' want to go for the safe bet and put him in first. Its more fun cheering for the underdogs. Just like how everyone cheered Cutler to beat Coleman all those years.

Safe bet? Are you serious....Jay was the underdog this year, most critics had Heath, Greene, Jackson ahead of him on there predictions.

Probably to add a little drama/excitement and get people talking about how Jay's days are over.

Its pretty much impossible to predict an outcome of a bbing show without seeing how these guys look on contest day. Judging by how successful Jay's career has been, putting him in 1st was a safe bet.

In my top 5 thread I made the comment that most people had Jay, Dex and Phil as their top 3 predictions.

Unless you are talking about other forums or media commentators.

If I had to bet money, it would of been on Jay or Dexter.

Those were the safest picks.

True enough...hard to count a former Mr.O out specially when he hasn't shown his true potential for a few years and still being relatively young in the sport

Exactly...judging from the previous 2 years most critics didn't have Cutler winning this show.

Who cares what critics say. You can't judge a bodybuilding show without seeing how the bodybuilders look on stage.
