Tom Prince (October 26, 1968 – February 5, 2022) was a professional bodybuilder from the United States. Prince earned his IFBB pro card after winning the 1997 NPC National Championships (his sole overall championship), and he competed for five years until retiring in 2002. His best professional result was third place at the 2001 Night of Champions. Prince suffered from focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a rare condition caused by possibly hereditary reasons, obesity, or maybe drug misuse, which forced him to retire early. Tom underwent a kidney transplant in 2012, but it failed two years later, forcing him to endure dialysis three times a week for four hours each time. Tom (together with his wife) operated a successful property management firm when he retired from bodybuilding. On February 5, 2022, he died at the age of 53. At this moment, the cause of death remains unclear.
