When I first started following bodybuilding, Alves was "Good ol' Alves"... now... he's still the same.

Much respect to him for being in that shape at that age, but he never played the mass game, that's why he won only one show in his whole career, which is more than some other Pros did but this is modern bodybuilding, only aesthetics ain't get ya anywhere. U wanna play with the big guys u gotta get big.

To be fair his upper body is damn impressive along with his excellent condition. He simply needed better legs though thats obviously easier said than done.
