Hi guys,

So I've been following UB/LB split for a few months now. Today I had one of the shittiest heavy LB session ever. So I was wondering that maybe You guys could critique my LB work to see if I'm doing anything wrong.

Heavy lower (reps below 10)

Squats 3 WU sets 5 work sets
Sumo deads 2 WU sets 3 work sets
Leg press 3 sets
+ calf and ab work

Light lower (reps above 10)

Squats 2 WU sets 3 work sets
Romainian deads SS front smith squats 3 sets
Leg ext. SS leg curl 3 sets
+ calf and ab work

Is it ok to squat twice a week with that high load?

Why do you use the smith machine for front squats?
Other than that your split seems fine. You might have just had an off day.

yeah, check out your nutrition and supps first, Lb work looks fine

I would add another leg curl or something like that for the hamstrings to balance things out

I would PM The Creator about UB/LB split. I know he did this for quite a while and made some good gains doing it.

My immediate response is that you gave us too little info.

When was the last time you had a deload?
When was the last time you changed exercises?
When was the last time your hammys got a decent amount of work?
What size piece of pipe did the PT use to beat you into submission to use a smith machine?
