UFC heavyweights – Ngannou vs Lewis

The dreader puncher Francis Ngannou will be facing another heavy striker Derrick Lewis as the undercard of the UFC 226 in Las Vegas. Ngannou’s last fight was a unanimous decision loss when he challenged champion Stipe Miocic while Lewis TKO’d Marcin Tybura in the 3rd round last February. Betting odds favor Ngannou but Lewis has a big chance of an upset. It will be a short fight according to the UFC insiders.

UFC announcer Joe Rogan called it the most boring heavyweight fight in the UFC. The expected heavy punches of Ngannou did not materialize as if he was afraid to attack with his defensive stance. Lewis won by unanimous decision for his few hits particularly the kicks on the leg of Ngannou. After announcing the decision, Rogan said that Ngannou doesn’t need a new trainer, what he needs is a psychologist. It was really a boring fight that the audience kept on booing.
