As 2026 draws to a close there is still plenty of bodybuilding action to see. October brings WABBA Hercules Olympia, NPC Worldwide and IFBB World Championships in Spain, along with pro card opportunities in a host of divisions. November NPC Romania Muscle Fest and WABBA Universe titles Natural athletes can follow WNBF and INBA/PNBA championships December closes out the year with Rome’s IFBB Mr. Universe and more. Stay tuned, and you’ll know precisely which shows to circle on your calendar.

Major Bodybuilding Events to Watch in October

October kicks off the busiest stretch of the 2026 bodybuilding calendar, and you'll find no shortage of shows to track. If you're chasing bodybuilding competitions in October 2026, you'll want to watch the WABBA Hercules Olympia Hungary Fall in Budapest alongside numerous NPC Worldwide events spread across France, Germany, Poland, Romania, Portugal, and Spain. On the IFBB side, the Mr Universe Canarias and Diamond Cup Skopje bring serious international competition to the table. If natural bodybuilding competitions in Europe interest you more, don't miss the WNBF Netherlands Open International Championships.

Upcoming Bodybuilding Events to Watch for Before the Year Ends

The month wraps up with the IFBB World Men's & Women's Championships in Santa Susanna, Spain, running October 29 through November 2. It is a fitting finale to a packed month of bodybuilding action.

Upcoming Bodybuilding Events to Watch for Before the Year Ends

October Events for Athletes Chasing Pro Status

Because pro status doesn't come easy, the final months of the year carry extra weight for competitors still chasing that card. October delivers a strong batch of bodybuilding pro qualifiers, with NPC Worldwide competitions like the Cup of Poland, Amateur Olympia Italy, 365 Grand Prix, and Euronaturals offering clear pathways forward. These events span Open, Classic Physique, Men's Physique, Figure, and Bikini divisions, plus WNBF shows for natural athletes seeking their own qualifying routes. Regional shows are where you build your ranking. Pro qualifiers are where you earn your pro card, given to the top finishers. Professional shows are for people who already have their pro cards. If you are following the upcoming bodybuilding events 2026 then October’s place on the bodybuilding calendar 2026 is one that you cannot miss.

November Brings More International Championships

Now, with the clock ticking over into November, the pro-qualifier momentum changes direction. A series of international championships throughout Europe will take center stage, with athletes heading to competitions with serious implications for their competitive futures.
First on the slate is the NPC Romania Muscle Fest, then the IFBB Ms Universe and WABBA Mr/Ms Universe, all drawing competitors vying for global recognition. The WFF European Championships add another level of prestige to the month's bodybuilding competitions, while the WNBF Germany Iron Walhalla Pro is a key stop for natural bodybuilding fans.

Don't overlook the NPC Dennis James Classic in Germany, a notable pro qualifier, or the IFBB World Fit Model Championships in Benidorm, broadening the fitness scene's reach.

Natural Bodybuilding Events to Follow

While the mainstream IFBB and NPC circuits dominate headlines, natural bodybuilding runs on its own track entirely, and it's worth carving out separate attention for it. If you're tracking natural bodybuilding events, October and November deliver plenty: the WNBF Netherlands Open, Italy's The Finals & Imperium Battle, the Swiss Pro Cup, and Germany's Iron Walhalla Pro. The INBA/PNBA European Championships in Baku will be a major event for drug-tested athletes in the bodybuilding competitions scheduled for November 2026. WABBA also has its own natural-friendly divisions across several shows this stretch.

Looking ahead, December 2026 will see bodybuilding competitions, including the INBA's Olympian's Natural Power Championship in Florence, which will provide a solid finish for the natural athletes. These federations have separate qualification paths, so make sure you check the divisions before entering.

December Shows to Close Out the 2026 Season

Once the natural circuit wraps its late-fall run, December steps in with a final wave of shows before the season closes. You'll find the INBA Olympian's Natural Power Championship in Florence rounding out the natural side, while IFBB bodybuilding events like the Mr Universe & Jose Monteiro International Cup in Portugal and the IFBB Mr Universe event in Rome give competitors two more chances to shine. The NPC Musclecontest in Austria adds another PCA-affiliated option to the mix, and the Netherlands closes things out with an NPC Open and Pro Qualifier.

These late-season events matter because they're often your last shot to qualify or gain momentum before schedules reset for 2027.

There’s a ton packed into those last few months, especially with the mix of pro qualifiers and natural shows. I like that the calendar covers more than just the big IFBB events, since the WNBF and INBA/PNBA shows are worth following too.
