Why Urs Won (and Why It Matters)​

Tall Classic guys (5'10”+) with enough tissue can be very competitive in Open thanks to their frames and lines (think Bumstead, Ramon, Logan, etc.). Shorter Classics pay too much of a mass tax under Open judging.

The Dorian Comparisons (Reality Check)​

Why people say it: Similar front silhouette/presentation can fool casual eyes. Truth: No one today has Dorian’s back (width + thickness) or calves. If you want a comp, think Dennis Wolf-style V-taper if Urs keeps adding back.

Livestream was rough: tight framing, mediocre clarity—hurt some physiques on video. Scorecards weren’t posted at recording time; the panel believes it was close up top.

What’s Next (Sept 14 – Dennis James Classic, Germany)​
