New York (January 18) After 2 1/2 hours of surgery, Victor Martinez's torn left patellar tendon was succesfully reattached. The following is a firsthand account by orthopedic surgeon and top national bodybuilder Dr. Victor Prisk, who assisted in the surgery.

My sarcasm-o-meter gave me no input here, so I`ll reply for both possibilities.

1) It`s sarcasm: Of course it`s not the end of the world, but after surgery the body has to recuperate, so he will lose weight and valuable days without training, and even more days without training legs. All sums up to "damn"

2) Not Sarcasm: Yeah, it`s a shame.
