WBC welterweight eliminator - Yordenis Ugas vs. Omar Figueroa Jr

Undefeated Omar Figueroa will face Yordenis Ugas for the WBC welterweight eliminator to claim the right to fight the champion. Figueroa has 28 wins and 19 KOs but Ugas is not scared with his fight record of 23-4 and 11 KOs. The fight is on July 20 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This is the co-main event of the Pacquiao-Thurman welterweight championship fight.

Omar Figueroa suffered his first loss courtesy of Yordenis Ugas. With the vicious knockdown in the first round had probably ruined the confidence of the previously undefeated boxer that he had lost every round to Ugas. The judges were unanimous in their scores of 119-107 for the big win of Ugas.
