Korakoen Hall in Tokyo is the venue for the defense of Vic Saludar of his WBO minimumweight belt against Japanese Masatake Taniguchi on February 26. An Asian Games medalist, Saludar has a fight record of 18-3 against the 11-2 record of Taniguchi. But Saludar has 10 KO wins while Taniguchi has only 7 KO wins.

So this is Vic Saludar's first defense. Of his WBO minimumweight crown? I wonder if he will be able do it against Taniguchi.
