Welterweight boxing – Amir Khan vs Billy Dib

After experiencing a terrible loss to Terrence Crawford, Amir Khan is on the comeback trail. He will face Billy Dib on July 12 in Saudi Arabia. Dib is a 33-year old featherweight who moves up to welterweight for the bout with Khan. With 20 KOs in his 33 victories and only 5 losses, Khan is still dangerous. On the other hand Dib also has 5 losses but with 45 wins and 26 KOs which could make him the favorite in the betting odds.

Former featherweight champion Billy Dib had tasted his 6th defeat in the hands of hard-punching Amir Khan who is on a comeback trail. The fight was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dib was overmatched by Khan and it was a sorry loss for a 4th round TKO. It was Dib’s corner that requested a stoppage by throwing in the towel.
