What made you happy today?

A good friend here sent me a very nice gift this week and the gesture from this friend was overwhelmeing and fantastic to say the least ,it's not often people think of you and what this friend did for me was very outstanding,and made me feel very happy to know I was thoght of by him.i feel very important as a person today and I can't thank this freind enough
It happened at the right time after having a bad three days the moral boost has really lifted my spirits.
This member knows who he is and just so he knows I am very grateful for your friendship and hope to pay it forward in your name.thank u brother from my heart,u made me look at the world in a positive outlook

I'm going to post this to be honest have actually been concerned about the reaction. Then I thought I don't give a shit. someone has a problem with this. What made me happy today was the reminder today at church that God gave his only son to save my sorry hide.

Yes Sr God is unconditional love ,and Jesus is the only way.Amen

I had a similar experience this week Mountain Man as well as a bro reaching out to see if I needed any help,which is something I'd do on a whim... it's an amazing g feeling to know there are like minded people on this forum ,I've met a couple others who have over the years become 2 of not only best but part of a very very small handful of ppl I'd consider friends,I'm glad to know these guys . Y'all know who u are,I'll keep it anonymous cos if they wee doing it for cool points they'd have made a post in open forum. Just wen I get fed up and start losing faith in humanity....bam I'm reassured there are awesome ppl out there.

I had a bad relapse over the past few months and my buddy let me crash on his couch to detox and basically took care of me while I wAs sick as a dog. Life long struggles are bearable with friends like that. Feels good to be normal again.
