I bought a bottle each of Joe Weider's Fat Burners and Amino Acids, that was 20 years ago in '98, I needed to lose weight then and I was my first time in a gym, it was a great and effective product, I worked out 4 times a week and after 6 months I was physically fit and I look really great.

This is likely before most of the guys here.

The 1st Supplements that I bought were from Universal Nutrition in 78' ~ Desiccated Liver Tabs.
And some Thompson's Athletes Formula Vitamins, that company is no longer in business.

I was taking the Thompson Brand for about 5 years by the time that Universal Nutrition started showing up in Health Food Stores.

Creatine and Powdered Protein Powders hadn't been invented yet...………………………………. JP
