Who is next for Golovkin?

Although Gennady Golovkin was unable to knock out Daniel Jacobs in his most recent fight, the undisputed middleweight boxing champion is still reckoned to be the best pound for pound fighter at least in his category. It was published that the popular Mexican fighter Canelo Alvarez had to give up his belt just to avoid fighting Golovkin and that didn’t sit well with the public in general. Incidentally, Alvarez will be fighting Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and there are talks that the winner will be pitted against Golovkin. As of the latest, Alvarez dominated the fight and won by unanimous decision over Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. And so the fight of Alvarez and Golovkin will materialize in September 2017.
