Dunno if we have one of these threads. But we should. So many classic soundtracks make so many movies even more classic.

Rocky soundtracks take the cake for me the bill conti stuff before the eye of the tiger although it wasn't bad just not as powerful as Contis orchestral stuff for me.
"Mickey"

"conquest"

"going the distance"

"alone in the ring"

and ofcourse the theme "gonna fly now"

If you took them out of any of the movies, so much of the emotion would be lost. I have the whole soundtrack on my Ipod and its the secret of my squatting the past 3 months lol.

im drawing real blanks on other movies. Last of the Mohicans i remember had a great score and so to obviously starwars possibly even lord of the rings. But rocky obliterates all of them for me. What else is there ?

p.s im a bit out there. for those who dont know i typically prefer orchestral stuff on my workout mixes before rap or metal. lol. Phantom of the opera ftw

I collect soundtracks!

Favorite composers are Thomas Newman, James Horner, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Danny Elfman, Elliot Goldenthal, and Joe Hisaishi.

Best soundtrack ever? Hard to say.

Best fantasy score: WILLOW

fuck me, how do I post the whole damn thing, not just the link?
