He never counted the bar as weight so he recalculated his numbers to include the bar.

Nono :) since I started weightraining I have always included the bar weight.

I added 10kg to my deadlift and lost a kg so that's why it went up to 294 wilks.

Going for a 70kg bench today so will see.

You can make an update post any time you wish.

Mango you sure your bench is 130kg? - yet your dead and squat are around the same. They should be higher in comparison.

I do believe you and it's perfectly possible just surprising that's all.

Also with that total and bodyweight your wilks should be 344.5 not 292.

Scoular, when you bench press, put your feet back further so your thighs and calves are at an angle slightly closer then 90 degrees. This allows you to push with your heels and gives you more stability.

Also, I would consider lowering the weight...you should come down with the weight in a more controlled manner, it looks like you bounced those  Controlling the eccentric portion of the movement is much more important and better for hypertrophy.

Last and not least, you need to get your head under that bar lol. Your eyes should be slightly in front of the bar meaning your eyebrows should be right underneath the bar. This allows you to do a proper push motion, because as you know when you bench press, you dont press it straight up you press it slightly back in a slant.

hope you take my criticism well and dont shove it down the shitter :tear:

Yes, I should do this. Spot on.

Again your right, I remember reading somewhere that the negative is better for hypertrophy.

With the bouncing, it's a bad habit I need to break

Never knew this will try it and see how I do.

Nono, it's fiiine. My bench has always been my weak point.

This Friday I will consider your 3 points and go for a new bench record. Might help.

Thanks again mate.
