Recently, Andrew Jacked has been gaining more popularity in the bodybuilding industry. Chinedu Andrew Jacked is a 30-year-old Nigerian who has managed to carve a name for himself in his niche.

He has so much passion for bodybuilding and he started his training in 2007. Standing at a height of 6'2 and weighing 266 lbs, he has an amazing physique that makes him stand out in the industry.

Andrew always gets a lot of attention whenever he travels because there are a lot of unanswered questions and mysteries surrounding him.

So, Dennis James hosted an interview with him on his episode of The Menace Podcast. On the podcast, Andrew was asked several questions. Dennis wanted to know if "Jacked" is his real name.

Andrew disclosed that it was a nickname he was given during his childhood and so he decided to add it as his family name.

Jacked grew up in Nigeria, but he lives in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. According to Andrew, there's not much between Dubai and Nigeria but he resides in Dubai due to personal reasons.

Andrew was a former electrical engineer, Kickboxer and CrossFit athlete. At the moment, he is getting ready to achieve an IFBB Pro league status. During the time of the interview with Dennis, Jack was training in Las Vegas with the seven-time Olympia 212 winner, Flex Wheeler.

Andrew also dominated the 2022 Arnold Amateur, which is a pro qualifier. In the competition, he earned his IFBB pro card.



Considering that Andrew has not been intent on entering bodybuilding competitions, this is quite an achievement.

Andrew disclosed that the reason why he decided to enter the competition is that other top athletes and Pros have been encouraging him to join.

Andrew explained that at the time of the interview, he weighed 288 pounds. And he made sure to tell Dennis that he had had no help getting to the point where he was. Except with the help of a prep coach who coached him for a couple of weeks. Andrew said he uses his engineering skill and experience to be the best he can be.

Jacked had the opportunity to train with top bodybuilders and athletes in other sports. According to Andrew, the strongest man he has ever trained with is Larry Wheels.

Andrew Jacked Bodybuilding Career​

Recently, Andrew has been drawing attention to the bodybuilding industry since 2021. He has competed and won in 3 different local shows in the United Arab Emirates in 3 months.

He won in his division at the first Emirate Bodybuilding Federation(EBBF) Ajman Bodybuilding and Physique Competition in April 2021. He was able to earn his Pro card for the IFBB Elite pro. This is an impressive feat because Andrew claimed to have only been at 60% prep.

He also won the Arnold amateur competition in March 2022 which earned him his IFBB Pro Card. With his Pro card, he will be able to compete in the Mr Olympia and other IFBB Pro shows.

Notwithstanding, Andrew has made impressive progress with his physique and his body is one to be reckoned with.

Andrew has dedicated a lot of hard work to winning his IFBB Pro card and his fans are looking forward to what he can achieve in the future.


Andrew Jacked Upper Chest Workout With Flex Wheeler​

On his social media account, Andrew has shared a video of his workout session with the legendary Flex Wheeler at the Dragon's Lair gym in Las Vegas. Andrew is training with Flex Wheeler in preparation for his new competition.



Andrew admitted that his body is used to a particular workout routine but his workout session with Wheeler is helping him expand his limit. Below is a quick summary of what the training video is about.
  • INCLINE CHEST PRESS​

At the beginning of the chest workout session, Wheeler wants Andrew to show him a few reps of his workout. After doing a few reps, Coach Wheeler gives some pieces of advice on how to improve the chest workout. Coach Wheeler wants Andrew to tilt his chin up so that he can bring the bar under his chin to his neck.

Wheeler says that the impact of the little change is that there will be a deeper stretch in his chest with this motion. Wheeler refers Andrew back to old videos of the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger.

He points out that that's the same exercise Arnold did. He asks Andrew to notice that Arnold also did incline bench press just the same way he's asking Andrew to do his. Wheeler encourages Andrew to ignore the side talks about hurting his shoulders with this new exercise method.

Wheeler and Andrew chat for a bit about Andrew's calf workout because Wheeler had just put him through 60 reps in a set routine.

Next, Andrew adds a 45 plate on each side and goes ahead to do 20 reps. While at it, Coach Wheeler stresses the fact that inhaling while the bar is a bit above the throat is what makes his chest relax and with a higher contraction.

After finishing the first set, Coach Wheeler makes Andrew put his arms up as though he was in chest press position. Then Wheeler puts his hands in Andrew's fists to put pressure. Wheeler points out that that position is the one that engages the chest the most; he tells Andrew to focus on joining his hands together as that is what causes the most contraction and mind-muscle connection.

Also, Andrew may do 2-3 more sets with the same 20 reps however the video displays just one more set of 20 reps. It's interesting to note that Coach Wheeler makes Andrew keep his elbow back and it seems like he's comfortable with using a wide grip.
  • DUMBBELL PRESS​

After the incline chest presses exercise, they move on to the dumbbell press. Coach Wheeler asks Andrew to follow the same pattern as the previous exercise. To keep the elbows back, take a deep breath and press in an inward motion. Andrew repeats the rep range with 30 reps over 50 lb dumbbells. While at it, Wheeler ensures that Andrew gets the right contraction. Andrew goes ahead to do 2-3 more sets here.
  • INCLINE CHEST MACHINE​

The next exercise is the incline chest press machine. In this exercise, Coach Wheeler instructs Andrew to allow the chest to stretch while focusing on contraction and breathing. After the first set of 20 reps, Andrew adds 2× 25lb plates to the 45lb on each side for the first set. In the second set, Andrew goes above and beyond the 20 reps. These extra seats are where champions are determined.
  • HIGH TO LOW CABLE FLYS​

For the last training exercise, they walk leisurely over to the cable machine. Coach Wheeler instructs Andrew to get a deep stretch and to allow his muscles to contract. Coach Wheeler tells Andrew to apply the same technique as with the previous exercises. He asks Andrew to focus more on breathing and stretching his chest.

Relationship between Flex Wheeler and Andrew Jacked​

Flex Wheeler was famous during his heyday. He has won numerous competitions, and he's able to pack on some good muscles himself. Flex is undoubtedly one of the best bodybuilders during his time and now he's helping Andrew become one of the best during his time too. The training session between Flex Wheeler and Andrew shows how much dedication and hard work Flex is putting into Andrew's preparation.
