I found this pic of Dennis its from may but i dont know where it was taken i think it was from his guestposing at the NPC pittsburgh
you re re re re read it:
Toney 3 days out - 283 lbs
why does toney place his hands like that?
I think he`d look just a little wider if he kept his wrists straight as it will push his elbows out a bit more.
edit: thx tkd for the updates <3
Its an old trick to reduce the gap between your lats and bent arms to create an illusion of more sweaping lat spread... not a bad idea for a tall guy with longer limbs... only he is killing the illusion by showing the hands... in the old days BBers used to turn in the fists/wrists and also slip them out of sight from the people in attendence!
But it then (imo) creates the ilusion of not being as wide as he can possibly appear
i suppose its the illusion i refered to vs the illusion you did.

Fankhouser`s midsection looks VERY long and kind of overpowers his upper body.. what do you guys thing?
Fankhouser`s midsection looks VERY long and is too eye grabbing for his upper body .. what do you guys think?
When ever i look at that picture my eyes automatically want to move to his midsection..
Still needs more biceps, he should inject a bit of synthol(assuming he hasnt already) because clearly they are a big problem for him
To achieve the illusion you were thinking of... BBers lean back & towards the crowd
And Frankhouser does have long midesection but what makes it worse is his high Pectorals that lack width and "flare"
Still needs more biceps, he should inject a bit of synthol(assuming he hasnt already) because clearly they are a big problem for him
we can throw in Luke Wood then.
You should check out his photos before his last contest which he horribly fucked up

Third day of carb depleting; I am very tired. Tomorrow afternoon we will start the carb-loading. I am napping a lot; when you don't have any carbs in your body, you really don't feel like doing anything.
I feel good, very confident; just the body is tired right now. Last weekend in Pittsburgh was good; everything was where it needed to be. Once we do the carb-loading, we will see how my shape is, then make any last adjustments if necessary.
Not really heavy training now, just doing a full-body routine the last two days after legs on Sunday. Just trying to maintain everything, not really work myself too hard. Then after my last workout tomorrow afternoon, the carb-loading will begin. Thursday carb-loading all day, and then Friday it's just small meals to keep my strength. You have to be sure everything is just right, and try to get it perfect.
As I said, I am very confident. I think this is the best I've looked before a show, and this weekend should be a very good one.
