I wouldn't be surprised if Toney takes it. It's so open between those 3 favourites.
Someone on this board commented the same thing on a Jay Cutler pic day before last O... and we all remember how Jay and that O turned out!
Lets hope this is a great show where all the top guys look awesome on stage (except for Kevin E) lets hope for fare judging and the best guys winning... Roelly that is
Can some one please tie Dohne's shoelaces together?
photoshoots infront of the public.. perhaps not the best thing in terms of PR and perception.
LOL why not? IMO getting your face out there is the best thing to do, specially in terms of PR.
:iorofl:
I'm with you on that one.
Appearing on that news show will do something for his PR but that shoot will do nothing, most people will just giggle and say derogatory things about him being oiled up and in posing trunks (which for them is a thong).
Marzia Prince 2 Days from 2010 New York Pro
Honestly the fact that this photoshoot was done infront of the public who are non-bodybuilding fans as opposed to one with which was done in a room does VERY little for his PR. Appearing on that news show will do something for his PR but that shoot will do nothing, most people will just giggle and say derogatory things about him being oiled up and in posing trunks (which for them is a thong).
Steve blechmen and his gay/schmoe/weirdo appearence also does nothing for the integrity of the photoshoot.
So if he just ran around NY in his trunks and "got his face out there" would his PR increase +vely or -vely?
Now if they got a female chick to stand near him that would have changed EVERYTHING because it would be obvious this is some sort of muscle/fitness/exercise stuff.
What makes you think they will do that? I've meet quite a few people who had never seen a BB'er (or BB show) IRL before and when they've actually saw one they where impressed and only had positive things to say.
For the second time: people in NYC do not care. I hate to break it to you, but people who come from other areas of the world see things differently than you do and, in a place like The City, they view such things as typical New York quirkiness. You speak of integrity in regard to a photoshoot but then suggest that bodybuilders stay locked up and out of sight? Please. At least Roelly, and other athletes from the sport, are proud of what they do and are willing to display their work in a public forum, if only for a simple shoot. Worrying about homosexual undertones or the public's perception of said undertones is as immature as those who may actually feel that way.
