Day 6 Post Op Scleral Buckling Surgery for Retinal Detachment in Right Eye; As I voice-to-text this, I am constant pain every waking moment. I've resulted in a bad case of Chemosis which is a very common effect after freezing the eye multiple times throughout surgery. I have only been able to open my left eye for certain moments at a time before my other eye gets too irritated. After hearing from multiple doctors and ophthalmologists to get back on a well balanced diet to gain my body fat back in order to heal properly I have decided, for my own health to forfeit the 2017 Mr. Olympia. I am not upset, I am thankful I will have my vision restored back to 80% in the matter of a few weeks.
Time is on MY side, I'll see y'all at the 2018 Arnold's Classic. I've gone through many obstacles this year but... THE FUTURE WILL BE BACK SOON.
