Today I had a lot of stuff on my mind and my knee was swollen and really sore from the cortisone injection. I was ready to just get in the gym and kinda lose myself in there to get some stuff off my mind. I did a lot of shoulders and arms, Let me know what you guys think, I was trying some new stuff out for shoulders.

looks like a solid session to me
but it all depends on how your body responded to it, that's the best indicator as to if it's too much
when's your first game?

Damn, huge session there brother. I dont think it would be good to hit one muscle group with as much volume as you did shoulders on a consistent basis but I think it has an effective shock value when incorporated every now and again. But on the other hand, it wasnt like you were really overtraining there. Overall, I bet that session got you pumped and some good numbers as well.

dude thats some good training!! how'd it feel??? when ever you wanna train im down im making stops in lyman SC, silva NC, johnson city TN and a few other places in around there, i really want to train in a hardcore gym, my gym turned gay after the owner got locked up, they play gay ass spanish music and they have alot of aerobics classes, its pretty gay lol

I am going to say that it is an insane amount of volume for the shoulders but if its only every now and again (like Creator said) then it'll probably work well. Great weight there on you CG presses after already axing your shoulders.

Thanks guys, I havent logged in a while because I've been trying to get things straight with my knee. I had a cortisone injection last tuesday and the cortisone injection actually made it worse some how. I'm not sure if any one else has had any experience with this? I went back to the doctor today and he couldnt really say why it got worse. He told me he wanted to go ahead and do surgery on my knee. He said it would be wasting time if I were to get an mri and it come back positive. He felt that I had an option to get it scoped this wednesday and miss the first few weeks of football practice or just wait till the end of the season to get it scoped.

I talked to my coach today and he said he thinks I should just wait till the end of the season. He felt like I wouldnt be able to cut or plant as well/good enough for the first game. Our first game is September 6th against Campbell Univ.

I'm going to try to contact the team trainer again in the morning to talk with him before making a final decision, but as of now I think I'm just gonna have to take the pain. I'm affraid if I do the surgery I wont be ready to play in such a short amount of time. He also put me on an anti-inflammatory called piroxicam.

I talked to the team trainer and have decided that I will just wait until after the season to get the surgery done. I've taken a little time off from running or doing anything with legs to get some inflammation done and let it recover some.

theweapon- your right bro I was very cautious working into it, but I dont feel that it bothered it any. I'm hoping it will maintain this kind of strength. My coach said he was very excited to find out that I wasnt getting the surgery till after the season.

On a side note our opponet for our first game, Campbell Univ., has been talking a lot of shit in the media. They called our coaches asking for 5,000 more tickets saying they felt we'd be their first win. I cant wait to kick that ass. I'll try to get some pictures up here in the next few weeks. Can someone give me directions of how to post pictures in here? I'll also try to post some pictures from games as the season goes along.

Thanks Lance. My training has been a bit unorganized due to the change with the knee problems and today I realized I shouldn't have done shoulders on saturday having that in between two chest sessions just wasnt smart. None the less I still had a great workout. I had a little extra motivation to get a pump in tonight. I met this hot rich girl from across the tracks haha, and tom night I will be home alone at her 6 bedroom house with her and chillin in the hot tub haha.

Got a couple pics for you guys. The proof picture was a really good hit. He jumped up to make a catch and I flipped um on his head. The picture with me and the dog was from last summer. I hope to get some more bodybuilding type pictures up here pretty soon.
