Matt Mitrione is set to get back on track in facing Russian Sergei Kharitonov With his career record of 13-6 and BMMA record of 4-1, Mitrione is confident to beat Kharitonov whose career record of 27-6 is not scary enough. Both fighters are aiming to get a shot at the title if they win this match. The fight will be held on February 15 at Mohegan Sun Arena Uncasville, CT.

The main event of Bellator 215 was anti-climactic as it ended in a no-contest decision. Mitrione had an accidental kick on the groin and Kharitonov played it safe by invoking the stoppage by injury. Since it was just 15 seconds into the fight, the stoppage resulted in a no contest decision. Maybe the fight will be reset at a late date.
