time to hit the 225 broski

soon, i want to be able to continue the ATG squats, i can probably do 225 parallel for 6+ right now, but cant do one rep ATG like im doing now.. i'll work my way up with the ATG by 5lbs increments, if i was doing all of this parallel or slightly lower i would do 10lb increments, but i don't want to over do it.

glad to see ur doing those atg squats hypo. keep working ur way up on those and dont worry about the weight, itll come. just get the technique in and get used to go deep and ull be golden.

Thanks BB, im going to slowly increase the weight, i hope to keep all reps above 3 for the last set i do, which is the heaviest set. today i might go back to the gym to do 200.

^ only ATG man only ATG.

did one legged leg press today,

first set 2 plates a side 10+, then 3 plates a side 8-10 forgot, last set 3 plates a side with a 25lb a side, 8+reps.

some one legged ham curls standing up to 70lbs or 90 forgot, some of the stacks #s missing, 6-10reps.

did abs, and whatnot, some arms, lowered weight for biceps did 35lbs curls 15+reps, then 40lbs 12+ etc, 55 lb hammer curls, usuall shit, forgot rest ha ha

update:

upping reps and lowering weights on most of my stuffs

going for 14+ reps on db curls no less
10+ reps no less on everything else,

im noticing a difference this way, more vascular difference, veinier, leaner.

today

35lb db hammer curls both hands at same time up to 14-15 reps
40lbs same
35lb db alt curls same (per hand)

some machine curls straight bar facing away
up to 110lbs 4-6reps (need to get 8...)
then one handed cable curls up to 50lbs 4+ (need 8!!)

standing tricep pushdowns
up to 140-150lbs forgot 8-10 (3-4 sets)

machine shoulder side raises up to 40lbs *per hand* 6+reps (multiple sets)
then with another machine both hands 25lbs forgot.. but was a warmup for the one hander one.

some back work, with straight bar, using cable system, from bottom, like doing rows. up to 100+lbs 10+ reps , slow reps, flexing while bar goes down each rep. 4-5 sets.

some calf presses on 2 different machine up to 320lbs 8+ reps (2-3 sets)

one legged leg extensions up to 90lbs 8reps each, then both legs i forgot what weight i used, 8-10 reps 2 sets with one legged and 1 set with both legs

one legged hamstring curls standing 2 sets up to 90lbs per leg 6+reps

abs 100reps seated ab crunch machine with 60lbs
oblique twists on machine up to 90-100lbs on it, 8reps (3 sets)

chest

flat bench press 145, 8, 7, and 6 i think
db flyes up to 50lbs 4-6reps
some flyes with machine thingy up to 80lbs 4+reps

some reverse pec deck work standing up to 110lbs per arm 8 reps

did some shoulders, abs, and arms


arms

db curls 35lbs

6 reps for left hand, then 6 right, then 10-12 more
40lbs hammer style,
45lbs same but also added hammer style that goes inwards to chest,
50lbs hammer curls 2 reps, then 2 reps alt curl normal style, then repeat 3-4 times

standing bb curls 60lbs 8-10, 70lbs same, 80lbs 5+
(80lbs was straight bar, other 2 were ez)

shoulders

seated machine press
up to 130-140 for 4 sets 3 sets up to 8-12reps, then got 2 with 140 i believe. need to do this more often

seated machine shoulder raise up to 50-60lbs? 6-8reps per arm from 40lbs to 60 or so...

rows with smith machine up to 130lbs with that close grip
8 reps each 3 sets

db rows 80 to 90lbs 6-10reps
i did the 80 and 85 with the dbs as if i was doing bb rows
90s were like regular db rows.

cable rows up to 180lbs 6+ reps from 130lbs 3-4sets

abs usual standing rope crunches

yesterday i did

legs, chest

chest

incline db flyes 40,45,50,60 6-10 reps
decline hammer strength presses 4 sets up to 135 a side 4-10 reps
cable crossovers up to 80lbs 4-8+ reps

legs

one legged leg extensions 60-70lbs? for 8+ reps then 90 or for 8+
one legged hack squats 90lbs 8+reps, twice, then both legs up to 140lbs 8+reps
one legged leg press up to 250lbs (excluding sled weight) 6-10reps

some abs.

changing my goals

trying to be lean, and agile, fast. not big anymore. im about 5'9 with shoes on ,and i wanna be lean 175-185 or so.

As of late, ive been doing stuff at the house (abs, shoulders, some pushups etc) then going to gym, i will keep my membership.
since i dont think i can use weights here.... all tile floor...
and no space in garage.

the higher reps is working nicely too.

thanks man,

my chest is still sore from a workout wednesday

i did alot for chest, and my lat workout for chest that day was

135lb flat bench 10 or so reps
then 3 sets of 3 for 185

im surprised i got that in cus i did db flyes, and incline presses etc before flat bench, usually i have no energy left, and i did that workout after an 9 hour shift at work heh.


today im going back, not doing arms
gonna do shoulders abs, some legs (trying not to get them big anymore just defined) might do more chest, but high high reps, i noticed the higher reps does help me lean and get cut, i can see a considerable difference this way rather than huge weight and low/mod reps.
