Back Thickness & Traps

Workout Session: Back thickness & Traps


Side note: Decide to train in the PM today instead of the AM just to see if i would of had more energy with carb loading throughout the day from my meals, i also tried my sample of MRI - Black powder, and no the powder wasn't black.... but it turned to blue with water... then turned to green 2 minutes later :uhoh2:. . anyways knowing that i had a shit back thickness workout last week.. there was no way in hell im having another one.



Exercise: Rack deadlifts
Warm ups;
Bar x 10
40kg x 10
60kg x 8
70kg x 8

Working sets;
140kg x 8
170kg x 4 - 4th rep was crap
130kg x 8
Comments: ......... i was speechless....veins popping out, lower back pumped, form was good nd blood was slowly rushing to my upper/middle back area :hsughr: , i was full of energy and i went insane on the rack deadlifts!! :hsughr:


Exercise: Bent over barbell rows - overhand grip
Quick comment: i didnt bother in trying to go heavy and was looking for more of form and pulling with my lats and it worked perfectly that way, with my back pumped as! :hsughr:
Working sets;
70kg x 6
60kg x 9
60kg x 8
Comments: i loved it!!! back was pumped and learning the the basics again is a great way to re-attack the weakpoints. :xyxthumbs:


Exercise: machine T-Bar rows ( they havent fixed the free-weight barbell Bar hole to place the Barbell in yet :dunnodude:
Working sets;
60kg x 7
60kg x 6
55kg x 8
comments: really nice, made sure my form was in check and lifting with my lats, each and every rep i said to myself " pull with lats " and crunch! :tiphat:



Traps
Exercise: Front & Rear barbell shrugs
woring sets;
140kg x 6 (behind) form was not so great with not so great R.O.M but still felt good.
140kg x 6 (front) with every up-point i would hold the barbell up for a 4 second hold and slowy go back down
130kg x 8 (behind) i thought i would finish up wit a rear shrug and do a better set then the first set with a 5 second hold up top, the soreness and pump was great! and still is :hyperguy:




Overall comments & score;

Pump: 8.5/ 10
energy: 9.5/10
motivation: 10/10
Overall score: 9/10

Bloody awesome workout and loved every bit, my next workout is on friday so im looking forward to it :tiphat:

i got a nice back pump tonight with a PB so far on rack deads, i know i can go for 180kg 2 reps.
with starting back the basics and learning from the start and pulling with my lats/back only the way it should of been done long time ago, :carduindisguise
