Yesterday and Today's sessions
5/3/1: cycle 4, week2
Deadlifts
3 x 155kg
3 x 177.5kg
3 x 200kg
I was extremely disappointed and pissed off with this result. I was in a hurry and probably didn't warm up properly and even a 140kg WU lift felt heavy. Soooo... I decided that it didn't count and that I'd try again the following day.
Deadlifts (again)
3 x 155kg
3 x 177.5kg
6 x 200kg (I think that's safely a new rep PR and an equal all-time PR)
I would like to thank Bulky for making this lift possible. If I wasn't so driven to beat his 200kg x 5 lift from earlier this week I don't think I would have been able to grind out the last 2 reps. And to be honest I think I could have made a 7th but I also might have had an aneurysm in the process.

I've discovered with squats and deads this week that what your head thinks is your limit isn't necessarily your real limit. Getting through the pain and the fear of injury allows you to channel into strength reserves you didn't know you had. Great Success!

I was surprised that I managed to beat the rep goal after the deadlifting.
Bastard Superset
Back Extensions x Hanging Leg Raises
I'm going to institute weighted back extensions as my accessory lift for the next cycle because I'm really starting to feel that it is the weak point in my deads.
Will do MP assistance with cardio tomorrow morning.
