Bulky: shoulders were playing up all last week oand just couldn't take anymore punishment on Friday. We'll have to see how this week plays out.

5/3/1: cycle 4, week 2
Squats

3 x 122.5
3 x 140kg
7 x 157.5kg
I happy with this effort. The session started off with a worryingly with everything feeling extra heavy, but that might be attributable to morning training (I suck at everything in the morning). My apparent weakness drove me to hit the last set as hard as I fucking could and I drove through the 6th and 7th reps where I might have walked away any other day.

More Squats
5 x 10 x 110kg

Abs and cardio to be done tonight.

In order to make this thread more legendary like Max's log I propose you do these things, in order:

1) Quit powerlifting and take up fitness. I want to see at least two sessions with video of 40 half-arsed chinups that you report as 80 chinups.

2) Quit fitness ASAP and go back to BBing. Start the diet and ask everyone for detailed advice.

3) Give up on BBing and go back to powerlifting so you can bulk.

4) Give up on powerlifting and go on a diet to get down to 8% BF so you can do a clean bulk.

5) Give up on the diet because it was taking too long. Take up tee-ball instead and work on running.

6) Tee-ball is for fags, take up BBing again and ask for everyone's advice on what you need to work on from some posted pics of you in red underwear. Mouth breathing optional.

A strong start to what was a pretty solid session today.

Dips
10 x bw
5 x 20kg
5 x 40kg
2 x 6 x 60kg
2 x 5 x 60kg
4 x 60kg
2 x 15 x bw
Getting up onto the dip bars with 60kg was a fucking effort, the belt kept slipping down. :shakefist: Now only 30kgs to go until I can do a 2xbw dip.

Pullups
50 reps

Cable Pushdowns
worked up to the a full stack then
10, 8, 8, 7, 6 x full stack

HS Supported Row
10 x 40kg
5 x 80kg
2 x 10 x 120kg
8 x 120kg

I had an epic pump going after today's lifting. I felt as wide as a house. Topped it off with 20mins cardio (8mins bike intervals, 12mins on inclined treadmill). Also despite my shoulder feeling dodgy all day I had no problems with it at all at the gym. Now is a different matter, back to dodgy!

awsome session bud, solid benching and great dips as well. yeah it can be a bitch to get up on the bars with that much weight.
lots of reps on the pullups, how many sets?

good work on the dips as well. and ye, getting up to the dip station with 3 plates in ur belt is a hazzle.

Bulky: I'm probably pretty close to my old max but I'd probably need a little bit of practice lifting heavy singles before I hit it again. Dunno when I might put some new pics up. I'm looking pretty jacked at the moment but at the same time there is a bit too much resemblance between me and the pic I'm using of Lord Wendler in his powerlifting bloat days. I really need to diet a bit methinks, but at the same time I'm worried about dropping any of my regained strength.

hey cuddley b- bear according to that dip article shouldnt you be benching 150 for 6 reps? since your bw is what 90kg and ur dipping 60kg for 6 didnt he say par was equivalent. loololol

nice session tho im just nit picking

Nit-pick away... I benched 150kg for 5 back in London, and hopefully oneday I'll do it again.

Hmmm, so I need to be hitting 45kg for a dozen on dips to bench 150kg.......

I can see that being an easy ask in the next month or two. Wanna race?
