Resetting based on calculated maxes from the last couple of weeks of training. No max session yet, I ain't feeling super strong after a weekend of boozing (and bruising), plus as previously mentioned I want my next set of maxes to blow my old ones away.

Monday's meh squats...
5/3/1: cycle 5, week 1
Squats

worked up to 8 x 150kg
Only had limited time spare for the gym today and then had to wait over 20mins for a squat rack to free up so was really rushed with my lifts. 150kg was actually moving quite smoothly but I had to quit because I totally ran out of puff. I couldn't even get a full belly of air to brace against my belt properly. I definitely came out of the blocks way too fast and didn't even pause for breath for the first 4 reps. If I'd slowed it down I think 9-10 might have been possible.

Today, rushed again...
5/3/1: cycle 5, week 1
Bench Press

5 x 97.5kg
5 x 112.5kg
12 x 125kg (WEIGHT/REP PR)
Pretty chuffed with that, only racked the bar because I was losing good form.

Bastard Supersets
A1. DB Press
3 sets with 50kg

A2. Pullups
3 sets with my fat ass.

5/3/1: cycle 5, week 1
Deadlifts

5 x 140kg
5 x 162.5
7 x 182.5
3 x 200kg (for shits and giggles)
Only made 7 due to being out of breath again, did another set afterwards to make up for it. Assistance work will be done tomorrow.

Hit MPs this morning, nothing stellar, worked up to 6 x 82.5kg. My shoulders have had no chance to recover after yesterday's benching.

Assistance suicide scheduled in for this evening.

Have just realised that I was only meant to max with 72.5kg today, and that 6x82.5kg is actually a PR. Win?

Did some assisitance work with supersets of bench/pullups and leg press/back extensions, but had to cut it short due to epic back spasms. Driving home was agony.

I'm still laughing at myself "accidentally making a PR".
