HBO’s women boxing – Braekhus vs Reis

Cecilia Braekhus, the undisputed welterweight champion, won by unanimous decision over challenger Kali Reis. One judge gave Braekhus 97-92, and the 2 other judges scored the fight 96-93. But the scores did not reflect the entire fight since Reis made Braekhus drop down on her knee in the 7th round and nearly flooring her again in the 8th round. The undefeated Braekhus got her 33rd win while Reis fell to 13-7-1. Watching the fight was UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg who is contemplating to shift to boxing to fight Reis.

This was an amazing fight, Braekhus brought in the beast in her but she seemed kind of shaky in the 7th round.
