Jay Cutler is gunning for a fifth Mr. Olympia title in 2013. Here is video of the four time Mr. O on the comeback trail training chest at "The Mecca," Gold's Gym, Venice, California. With his mind firmly set on regaining the crown, Cutler is obviously not messing around as he gives us a glimpse of his mindset and his training methods while busting out a chest workout. This is the first video in a series chronicling Jay's comeback to the Olympia stage featured exclusively on MuscularDevelopment.com.
Jay Cutler Re-signs with MD!!
Muscular Development is proud to annouce that 4X Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler has re-signed for another year with Team MD! We look forward to following Jay through his prep for the 2013 Mr. Olympia, where he will once again try to regain his title.
Steve Blechman had this to say, “Jay Cutler is one of the toughest, hardest working and most determined competitors the sport has ever known. He has the drive and work ethic to do anything and a great ambassador of our sport!
Amazing, after biceps surgery this past February, he’s looking to return to take home Sandow number five. Do I think Jay can do it? If anyone can come back, it’s him! Winning another Sandow won’t be easy for Jay. He’ll be 40 at next year’s Olympia. Jay Cutler is the only Mr. Olympia to ever reclaim his title after losing it to Dexter Jackson in 2009. In 2011, Jay was runner-up to his good friend Phil Heath, but I wouldn’t count Jay out – he’s got a plan to reclaim the Sandow once again!
I wish Jay the best in his preparation and success at the Olympia! I am proud to have Jay as part of our great MD Team of Bodybuilders and Olympians such as Lee Haney, Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates, and Dexter Jackson.”
When asked how he felt about re-signing with MD, Jay said, "I honestly feel MD is the best and the only truly hardcore bodybuilding magazine. Steve Blechman and his staff never rest on their laurels and are always working hard to improve both the magazine and the website. Recently there have been a couple of staff changes that are already proving to be for the best. As I begin my training for the 2013 Mr. Olympia, I am looking forward to sharing my progress with all of you right here in the pages of MD and also in a series of videos for the website. I’d like to thank Steve Blechman for all the wonderful exposure, and I look forward to another successful year as a proud member of Team MD.”
If you were lucky enough to be in attendance when Jay took the Sandow back in 2009, we know you're eagerly awaiting the 2013 Mr. Olympia contest, like we are. No one knows how to make a come back like Jay Cutler! And Team MD will be there every step of the way as Jay Strives for Five!
If all the preparation he his doing goes well it will be an awesome 2013 Mr O.
I really like Jay!you think he can regain the title??
I think it is highly unlikely..
