What did you think of Changeling?

Mediocre. The same melodramatic film that Eastwood keeps rehashing time and time again, with little conflictual weight, thus any emotional response isn't rightfully garnered. Even the feminist motifs are underplayed and do not justly explore the bounds of motherhood. He also still needs to learn to use a camera in any manner of interest.

It had Gumpy moments but I don't feel it's a really relevant comparison. I was also disappointed in it though.

I am talking more from a career angle, as compared to Tom Hanks or Billy Bob Thorton.
It had moments & was for the most part enjoyable, like something that tastes great but a little later you have a nasty after-taste.

Also saw Wall-E earlier today, it was pretty much excellent. 9/10.

Just got back from Quantum of Solace. Can't comment fully as we missed the first 5-15mins of the movie because of a lazy projectionist. At least I got a free ticket to see something else.

Anyway Quantum of Solace was good. A lot of the guff it has received about being one big chase scene is just not fair. I enjoyed the film, but I did feel that Casino Royale was better plotted. This was better paced though and the only thing I didn't really enjoy was the handheld camera shaky work for action sequences.

Overall I think the Bond franchise is delivering good films again that are worth watching.

The Ruins - decent thriller movie

Chaos Theory - strange movie but was interesting to know what was going to happen but i found some parts to be boring

Felon -good movie to watch on dvd, if nothing else is on

All the boys love Mandy Lane - the main character Mandy... she was super hot!!!, it was a decent thriller/horror movie

Pathology - good movie to watch, another thriller movie with gore in it

Linewatch - from the get go of the start, it was really boring and slow movie, i still ended up watching the whole movie regardless only because i had nothing better to do, but it was a poor movie, 1/5

I was thinking last night about my favourite comedy of the year, as most have been pretty lame.

Now this one was released last year (in the UK only I think) but I saw it in cinemas this year: Death at a Funeral.

I think this was probably one of the best comedies I have seen and was very well acted, had a lot of great moments, and built upon comedic moments to build tension and character. Plus it had Alan Tudyk in it.
