Thanks guys. I may have spoken too soon. I could feel a twinge in my back a little before todays session, but may have just been from not enough sleep and getting up too early while it was still stiff. Still the session wasn't too bad:

Thanks Tim. yeah, like those and lunges - it seems no matter how the other similar exercises are going for me (ie bench and squat respectively) I can still crank out loads of weight on those. Retarded? Yes.
Ta muchly everyone. Well as my back starts to sort itself out I now have the beginnings of cold/flu symptoms! From one thing to another. I'm dosing myself up with tablets and it doesn't seem to be getting any worse but I'm working 12 hrs all night tonight so the sleep pattern muck up won't do me any favours so we'll see.
Nonetheless I got in the gym and it wasn't too bd at all:
Deads
100kg (220lb) x 10
140kg (310lb) x 8
170kg (375lb) x 4
170kg (375lb) x 4
170kg (375lb) x 4
170kg (375lb) x 4 - pleased with all these sets - didn't feel too hard, my back was fine and I didn't use a belt.
U/H Pull-ups
w/7.5kg (18lb) x 10
w/7.5kg (18lb) x 10
DB Row
45kg (100lb) x 8

Seated Calf Raise

265kg (585lb) x 6
265kg (585lb) x 8 - P.B. - I think.
SUPERSET WITH
Seated Inc DB Curl
17.5kg (40lb) x 10
20kg (45lb) x 9
Then some hanging grip work. Nothing special but pleased with how the deads went - bodes well for continued increasing!
