Russian bodybuilders are facing significant challenges in participating in international competitions due to visa denials. These visa denials are part of a broader trend affecting athletes from countries with strained diplomatic relations. While international sports federations like the IFBB can provide support through official invitations, they have limited influence over national immigration policies. As a result, athletes often find themselves caught in geopolitical crossfires, hindering their ability to compete on the global stage.
