Very frustrating, i really wanted those 3 reps and I KNOW i have those in me but today wasn't the day. 170 felt so heavy I already started to think I couldn't do it...and indeed I failed, badly. Next time will be different.

I'm really happy this is a deload week because i'm pretty f*cked up. There is not anything serious enough to be called an injury but i've got several aches and pains and disconforts it's not even funny.
My left knee is all cracks and pops in the morning and it hurts when it's cold (remember that incident I had around xmas, it comes from there). I've started using a knee sleeve to keep it warm while squatting.
My left wrist is a mess, there are days it hurts all day long and there are days it's perfectly fine. I've halted specific grip training and I'm focusing on good wrist/grip/hand form while doing stressful exercises like MPs and bench. Should I look into using wrist wraps? Or is it counter-productive?
And finally my left shoulder, which traditionally has been a weakspot injury-wise, is giving me warnings too. I'll be checking my pullups width and form since that seems to be the problem.

I cannot hide the fact that I'm turning 30 pretty soon and I should be aware of that while at the weight room :tear:
