Bulkboy - Cheers mate heavy is the only way to go. I'm trying to break barriers and i have done with my legs with an extra 10k on my last set of squatting, also my shoulder strength has improved:).

good session bro:2: solid rows and lat pulldowns. what happened on the deadlifts? grip gave out? i vaguely remember u doing 140 for 3 the last session.

u use an overhand grip on deads or an over/under grip?

if u use an overhand grip, get some straps for the heaviest sets where the grip doesent hold up. and add in some grip work, like pinch grip plate holds:thumbsup2:

Nice workout Tonka. I have simalar prob with my grip. The other day mine gave out doing deads with 140kg after 4 reps lol, yet i can deadlift like 40-60kg more with straps. I am trying not to use them as this is why my grips like this in the first place. And also i'm stopping wearing a belt too. Like BB said maybe do some grip work for those fuckers.

Yeh and also try some chalk as well, ive yet to try it but supposed to be good, that's one of the reasons my grip's poo is because in the gym mmy hands are sweaty. About the belt i'll prolly only wear it on a 1rm or something extremely heavy. I just want to build up my core/strength, wearing a belt does the opposite. But like u said, having a back injury in past i'd wear a belt too just to be on the safe side of things. :thumbsup2:
