WATCHMEN Graphic Novel

Has anybody read the Watchmen graphic novels? I saw the movie Friday and i thought it was pretty good. I was not even born when the the graphic novels came out so i never read them. I was thinking about reading them and was wondering if anybody had anything good to say about them.

if i remember correctly the novel was on TIME's best 100 novels or something, so it is a good read.

Yeah ive read it once, im on my second read atm. Its pretty amazing, one of the best graphic novels ever made. See, if you want GN's go for DC...they do the best.

My favourite graphic novel, of all time is Brian Azzarello's Joker.
Its Training Day meets Goodfellas meets The Dark Knight:

yea it is. i read that earlier when i was looking up info on it. yea i figured it would be good just wanted to read others opinions.

I have read Watchmen twice now and it is excellent. Very complex, deep and dark. You will not be disappointed.
