hi, I saw some photos you posted a few weeks ago, and second in this race will bring the best condition ever. Compared to the condition he presented in the years he trained in Kuwait, this time he is hard and streaked. the problem, however, is that samson dauda will be on the race stage in ohio and in these months, after the victory at mr. olympia 2024, he has improved a lot on a mass level, I think he will be the one to win.

Brandon Curry will most likely be one of the finalists of this edition

2025 World's Strongest Firefighter Competition: A Celebration of Strength and Heroism​

The 2025 World's Strongest Firefighter (WSF) competition is set to take place from February 28 to March 1, 2025, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. This esteemed event, held during the Arnold Sports Festival, brings together active-duty firefighters from around the globe to showcase their exceptional strength, endurance, and dedication to public service.

Event Overview​

Since its inception in 2019, the WSF competition has grown significantly, becoming a highlight of the Arnold Sports Festival. The 2025 edition promises to be the most expansive yet, featuring male and female firefighters across various weight classes. Participants will engage in a series of rigorous events designed to test their physical prowess and mental resilience.

Competition Structure​

The WSF competition is divided into preliminary rounds and finals:

• Preliminary Rounds (February 28, 2025): All registered competitors will participate in four challenging events:
  1. Log Clean and Press for Reps: Athletes choose between a lighter or heavier log, with one repetition of the heavier log surpassing any number of repetitions with the lighter log.
  2. Shield Carry for Max Distance: Competitors carry a shield-shaped implement for maximum distance. One drop within the initial five feet is permissible; subsequent drops conclude the attempt.
  3. Kabuki Trap Bar Deadlift for Reps: Utilizing a trap bar, athletes perform deadlifts for maximum repetitions within a set timeframe. Straps are allowed; however, deadlift suits or briefs are prohibited.
  4. Sandbag Steeplechase: A dynamic event where participants navigate a course while carrying sandbags, testing both speed and endurance.
• Finals (March 1, 2025): The top performers from each division advance to the finals, competing in four additional events:
  1. Ambulance Tire Axle Press: Athletes press a weighted axle fashioned from ambulance tires for maximum repetitions within 60 seconds. Continuous presses are encouraged without the need for repeated cleans.
  2. Silver Dollar Deadlift: Competitors lift ascending weights, with the objective of completing the maximum number of repetitions at the heaviest weight.
  3. Hoist Lift: Participants pull a rope attached to a high pulley, elevating a weighted object as high as possible within 60 seconds.
  4. Fire Hydrant Load Series: Similar to traditional strongman Atlas Stone events, athletes lift and position fire hydrants onto designated platforms, ensuring each hydrant stands upright to count.

The overall champion is determined based on cumulative performance across all events, with weight adjustments made in the finals to ensure equitable competition among different divisions.

Charitable Endeavors​

The WSF competition serves a dual purpose: celebrating the strength of firefighters and supporting charitable causes. Proceeds from the event benefit organizations such as the CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation, Santa Monica Firefighters Relief Fund, and the Columbus Firefighters Foundation. These funds provide essential assistance to firefighters and their families, particularly in times of need.

Notable Participants​

The 2025 roster features a diverse group of athletes, including the defending 2024 champion, Marcus Waugh. Competitors hail from five countries, exemplifying the global camaraderie and respect within the firefighting community.
