Meh. I'll be the first to admit that my squat is my weak lift, but its also the hardest lift out of the 3 in my opinion. Once I get back under the bar I'm sure it'll be back to its former glory and beyond in no time. Wendler be praised.
Eventually hauled my ass to the gym today. I'd scored a 3-day trial pass for Jett Fitness which is pretty close to where I'm staying and went in to check it out with the intention of starting my 5/3/1 template. Sadly this was not the case. Jett Fitness is officially the lamest "gym" I've ever been in, no squat or power rack, no barbells and not even a bench press. Just a shitty shiny smith machine which I assume is meant to handle all barbell duties. Epic gayness.
I persevered with 5/3/1 concept. I worked up to a rep max on the heaviest dumbells they had (40kg) and then did my assistance work.
Incline DB Press

Cardio: 15mins on the bike. Would have done more but I felt close to puking. Sooooooooooo unfit.
I'm gonna finish off my trial pass at this gym with morning cardio and try out the Uni gym for squats tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
I emailed the uni gym, they've got a squat and power rack and go up to 60kg on the DBs so I should be right. I've used another gym here as well, I'm just trying to find the cheapest.
i goto eva life in jindalee lololol. i pay 15 a fortnight and they have dumbells upto 50kg, 2 squat racks etc. ( i think they said my membership allows me to bring in friends upto 8 times in a 6 month peroid for free as well. )
The only advantage to Jett's gyms are them being 24hr. From what I understand though, they don't let you lift heavy outside of normal gym hours because of lack of supervision or something... I dunno.
The one at lutwyche that just opened is honestly the size of a shed.
too bad about the lame ass gym, but nice to see that you're making the best of it. looks like a decent session but i suspect that the gayness is affecting your motivation a bit
