FLEX - THE 20 BEST BACKS OF ALL TIME

1) Ronnie Coleman
2) Dorian Yates
3) Joel Stubbs
4) Lee Haney
5) Franco Columbo
6) Jay Cutler
7) Jean-Pierre Fux
8) Samir Banout
9) Michael Francois
10) Victor Martinez
11) Mohammed Benaziza
12) Robby Robinson
13) Flex Wheeler
14) Art Atwood
15) Orville Burke
16) Sergio Oliva
17) Tony Pearson
18) Thierry Pastel
19) Melvin Anthony
20) Albert Beckles

I just picked up the March issue of Flex. I think they have the top 2 dead on, but I would put Haney at #3, Stubbs at #4, Samir at #5, Victor at #6, Columbo #8, Cutler at #10, Wheeler at #12, Robinson at #13. Plus I think Aaron Baker should of made the top 20. This should make for a good thread.

hmmm....its really tough to say on some of them because of the different poses. Some of the guys have a really great rear lat spread but not so great a back double bi and vice versa. I cant argue too much with that but I do think that Flex should be placed a little better.

i think haney is seeded to high. I think his waist gives him the illusion of having a better back then he really has but he should def be top 10.

Jay at #6 is laughable. I could care less how wide your back is if you are consistently considerably worse than your adversaries in the back double biceps pose.

Jay Cutler and Art Atwood making the list at all is rediculous, and Victor should be top five IMO.

victor is "going" to have the best back ever IMO

I know I'm going to get hammered for saying this, but I don't think Vic's back is as stupendous as to be higher than 10 at this point. In the grand ol' history of BB, there are still quite a few ahead of him.

But who knows? Maybe I'll be eating my words in a few years.

Oh yeah, what about Shawn Ray? :angrydude:

Not one of the biggest, but certainly one of the most complete.
