It is not retarded to think that kirk hammet is shit... YOU think hes good... ask ANY experienced guitarist that has studied rock/metal playing for years and they will agree with me.

No that is just YOUR opinion and nothing more. Kirk Hammett and his band are one of the biggest influences of most guitarists today. I guaruntee that many would disagree with you. Just because you play guitar, and dig metal/rock music doesnt make your OPINION valid or worth caring about.

No... it is not just my opinion. EVERY guitarist ive met that has experience... that can play metallica songs/solos, that has a decent knowledge of theory and technique has agreed with me.

It's his opinion that Hammett is not worthy of top 100, but it's a fact that most knowledgible guitar players wouldn't consider Kirk a top guitarist. He's good, but overrated.

All these guys are in there basically for their showmanship... they are all great musicians.. but my perfect band would be a band thats awesome on stage as well as having great songs.

Ive seen dragonforce play live twice, when you are there... upfront... being studio quality in your playing comes somewhat 2nd to putting on a rgeat show.
