It is a subjective sport, but to say Phil was robbed and that Kai is completely undeserving of his win is ignorant and not to mention disrespectful.

This guy is pure bias. At least you can see Tim admitting that Kai made improvements and his win was justifiable and he hates Kai's physique. That's an unbiased comment. This guy is making it sound like Phil was robbed as badly as Liberatore was at the Phoenix Pro.

In a sport like this, you can't let your biased opinions take over of what's true and what's not.

And like Turk has mentioned dozens of times, this sport isn't always about what appeals to you most in your opinion, you have to look at things at a bodybuilding standpoint. Just because a bodybuilder "looks" most appealing in your eyes doesn't mean he should have won. Like for me, I hate Branch's physique, and at the Olympia of course I will think Phil and Kai look better than him. But that doesn't mean I think that they should have placed ahead of him because in a bodybuilding standpoint, he was the better man that day.

I think almost everyone agrees that was the best phil heath ever; and Kai was off, even maybe just by a little bit. AND Kai still won! which I think he should have won. How does Phil ever expect to beat Kai anytime soon when Kai doesn't bring his best and Phil does but Kai still wins.

I don't even know why you're defending something that stupid. If you're going to express your feelings about something, don't make it like your opinion is the right one.
Yes, Kai was off, but not as off as he was at the Olympia. He was good enough to out muscle the other competitors. Had he come in with the conditioning of the Olympia, Phil most likely would have won. Saying "Kai was off, Phil should have won" is just ignorant and if you can't figure that out, well..
Bodybuilding isn't just about saying, "oh he's off, let's place him ahead of him." There's many more things you have to take into account, like Kai's superior width over Phil, lower body is better conditioned than Phil's, etc etc.

Over time, Phil will be better than every bodybuilder out there, currently. Phil is still really young so you could imagine 5 more years on him and how much improvements he'll make. He's not even at peak age for most bodybuilders.

Phil was FIRST after pre judging, so he obviously didn't get "screwed" by the judges who had some kind of vendetta against him. I thought he certainly deserved first after the morning show, he was just diced, and much improved overall, while still having incredible muscle bellies and overall flow to his physique.

Kai got a bit better by the night show, and he just has a massively thick/wide back, which is where I believe he won, but only ever so slightly.

Give Phil time, Ronnie was 34 when he won his first Olympia and I don't think there are many people who don't think Phil will win his first in the next 3 years by the age of 33.

My opinion about kai has been pretty solid throughout. People know where i stand. But i didnt have to make a thread that went something like this.

Body: I love kai's deep and thoughtful speeches. They bring a tear to my eye. When he puts his ass in the air it seems so elegant yet daring. Perhaps more stuff has been said about Jay than anyone else… I don’t remember anyone getting oh so emotional about that… why… because like I said people are entitled to their opinion! I had missed an earlier thread about Kai’s prep for ACS and started my own with the title that you so obviously have taken to your heart! That again was nothing different than we all have done to bodybuilders of our choice… only difference is mine was about a BBer you happen like immensely! The point of the matter is just as you continue to be impressed by Kai, I like many many others continue to be unimpressed.
