kr - I agree with Tunen. I used to train in a simialr method to you and made some decent gains so stuck with it, the main set max and loads of recovery time. I didn't see any reason to change it and risk losing the momentum I had accrued but decided to look the way of frequency and it really has made a tremendous difference. I have been hitting PB's in pretty much every session for the past few weeks so I know it's the greater training system through practise.
However as you've said you are making gains and enjoying it so it's up to you, but don't discount it. If nothing else it might be something to look at when you've had enough of your current routine or hit a wall.
Good session though by the way - those dips are coming along!
