wow Lines in da house, big ass presses there if ya getting 4 x 120lbs in your first go then you will dominating them within know time. I love DB presses and my chest responds with more seperation and tightness, but when I head back to Barbell Presses for Mass I find I have lost alot of strength. That's the only thing I hate about DB pressing.
I'm with BigBen, my calves suck so I may give this Fascia Stretching a go as well.:uhoh2:

BB - I can't really say how the fascia stretching is in terms of results because today was the first day I tried it. From what I felt though it's definitely a better and more productive stretch than I'm used to getting so I'm going to keep doing it and keep everyone posted on my thoughts of it.

Tweak - Thanks man, I really want to get up to those 130's and outgrow this piss ant gym of mine. LOL. Today I'm doing fascia stretching for legs and I am not looking forward to it :ughnoes:

Pumba - I love DB presses too and I'm really hoping to keep adding strength both there and on the flat bench. To be honest, I was hoping to do BB Bench but because the gym was so crowded and I didn't have a spotter I decided not to risk it. I like mixing those up so I don't lose any strength between one exercise or another. I always appreciate your posts bro :2:

Great session of Chest and Arms. Your Flat DB press is incredible, good job man. Cant wait until you max that gym out! Tricep and Bicep work looks really good as well. Could you explain to me what fascia stretching is? I've heard of it, but dont know how its done or what it does for you. I usually do standard stretching so my muscles have room to grow. Keep up the huge sessions man, you are certaintly a beast!

Glex - Yeah, I got a great pump from those cable hammer curls. As for the fascia stretching, just wait until we do it for chest/arms again because it's going to be absolute hell. I promise you that.

T.O. - Thanks bro, glad a big fella like you found time to stop by :2:

BB - Your calves suck and you know it! :49:

Paulie - Since my gym goes up to 130s I'm really hoping to hit those up for reps by the end of my bulk and I'm glad you're stopping by here to witness the journey. As for fascia stretching, here's a thread CC started about it with some links in there:

https://musclemecca.com/showthread.php?t=3542

Basically what I did for it was this...

Chest: Lean forward between two walls with my arms to the side stretching my pecs and holding it for a minute.

Bis: Layed on an incline bench holding 25 pound DBs down at my sides for a minute.

Tris: Held a 35 pound DB behind my head like I was doing two-arm overhead DB extensions and holding it for 60 seconds.

UPDATE: Today I did legs with Glex. Put up some heavy weights but took it fairly easy volume-wise because my hamstrings are still a little sore from the last session and my left knees bothering me a bit.

Date: 10.17.06

Time of Workout: 9:40 pm

Meals Before Workout: 4

Duration: 1 hr 10 min

Quads
BB Squats
Set #1 - 225 pounds x 12 reps
Set #2 - 315 pounds x 8 reps
Set #3 - 365 pounds x 8 reps
Set #4 - 405 pounds x 6 reps
...PB

Leg Press
Set #1 - 830 pounds x 8 reps
Set #2 - 1,000 pounds x 2 reps
...PB
Set #3 - 650 pounds x 15 reps

...60 seconds of fascia stretching...

Hamstrings
Seated Leg Curls (16 total settings)
Set #1 - Setting #10 x 12 reps
Set #2 - Setting #12 x 8 reps
...PB for machine
Set #3 - Setting #13 x 8 reps...PB for machine
Set #4 - Setting #6 x 25 reps
Set #5 - Setting #6 x 25 reps

...and that's it for today. Overall I wanted to make it a fairly quick session but I was very happy my strength was up from the last time I did these exercises so I feel I'm headed in the right direction. I've never attempted 1,000 on leg press before so getting it up, if only for a double, was a major victory for me. Hopefully soon sets like that can improve to 6-8 reps. As for the fascia stretching, it seemed easier for quads from a pain standpoint than upper body exercises so I may need to look up a new method.

That's all for now guys, until next time: hit 'em up :weightlifter:

Awesome session bro:weightlifter: , PB's on two very big lifts is awesome. Inspirational effort, I can't seem to nail the leg press yet, I need to do em more often I think, do use the flat legpress or the incline one? Very happy to see such a huge effort bro, hope your proud of it.

Sorry I had to agree with Benny so much, but he got upset when I told the world his calves sucked j/k loooooool:bowroflarms: It's ok Benny they will be cows soon bro.

BB - Thanks bro. I've got a decent amount of money in my checking account now so I think I'm going to place my order for the belt you suggested this weekend. The belts I've been using for my heavier sets are really crappy ones the gym loans out so I'm looking forward to having something thick around my waist to really explode through my squats. I'm also looking at knee wraps to save my knees. I appreciate it bro.

Pumba - The leg press I use is the incline one, I've actually never trained at a gym that has a vertical one before. Thanks for stopping by as usual big guy.

UPDATE: Trained back and shoulders with Glex tonight but I'm off to see a movie now so I'll update and hit everyone else's log when I get back. Thanks for reading guys.

Thanx for the info on fascia stretching! Sounds really beneficial. That leg session was great. Congrats on the 405 for 6, lets see you catch up to BigBen sometime soon. Great job on the leg press, 1000 lbs is excellent, cant wait until you start repping that man! Good job with everything! :yardsalebroly:

FF - So far the fascia stretching is pretty good but I have to fine-tune some things and find what stretches I like best. I'll keep you posted as to how my progress goes after a few weeks of using it.

Paulie - No problem sharing the info, that's what we're all here for. I'm really looking to catch up to that son of a bitch Ben too! LOL. To tell you the truth, I felt really dizzy and started seeing spots on both my 405 set for squats and my 1,000 pound set for presses. Still, as long as Glex can spot me I'll push myself to that point each time. Thanks for posting :2:

Mango - Thanks bro, I'll check out your log now and be sure to make fun of you! :xyxthumbs:

Hey bro you trying to replace Evo as Mr PB or something?? Awesome work, like the way calves get tossed in too. Nice and smart with the DB rows, alot of us put poundage before form, least your not ego driven, good work bro.

BTW what movie did you go see and what was it like?
