Well it figures you would modify skull-crushers the day I didn't lift with ya... :disgust: Sorry I wasn't there to spot you; tomorrow's the PFT, and then after that I have a few projects due so I really can't do much lifting until Friday either...but then there will be blood.

Shit, you pwned that last set of cable curls!

Sucks about the wrists lineo, maybe the way your holding the bar needs some work?

Have you got the 100's up for reps before?

Fallen - Yeah, training early sucks. I was already done with my schoolwork too so I pretty much just wasted the rest of the day. I could have just put off training and done it later that night with more food in me. Oh well. Thanks for the support bro :2:

BB - I've never really liked resting, I feel like I'm wasting time! LOL. Actually because Glex and I have both been busy I've been training by myself which makes it a lot harder to pace my workouts. I get impatient just standing around waiting so I figure "fuck it" and just go on to my next set. Thanks for the compliment though, my strength is definitely getting there and I'm really proud of my bench because it's never been high.

Pegasus - Thanks a lot of the kind words, it's good to see we're getting along after a rough start. I know as an engineering guy, you must feel my pain with schoolwork as much as anyone; hope those assignments go well. Also, I really appreciate you stopping in here to post especially since you don't have a log of your own; most people that don't just avoid this section so it means a lot. As for my wrists, I actually had problems with them this summer and was wearing a glove with a wrist support on it so I may be going back to that soon. Anyways, I appreciate the post again, take care :2:

Glex - I already saw your PFT scores so congrats there, although it should seem like cake compared to a good leg day! Hopefully the projects go well and you'll be able to hit back/shoulders with me tomorrow.

Tweak - To be completely honest I forgot all about how much my wrist hurt this summer until about an hour after I was finished training. It really hasn't been bothering me until the last few sessions so I'm thinking of incorporating my wrist support again for that arm. Thanks for the compliments but I really wanted more than 90's on incline...as for 275 x 10...umm...maybe in a few weeks :xyxthumbs:

FF - Thanks bro, hopefully it'll be getting better soon. Today I have leg day so not too much stress there.

Pumba - Yeah, the wrist should be fine in a matter of time (I'm sure typing on this site non-stop doesn't help either) but I appreciate you posting bro. I'm going to need to step up my leg session today, just for you bro.

Chesty - It's not really the way I'm holding the bar, it's just a nagging injury that happened this summer and never got a chance to rest. I did do it originally aggrivate it training but that was due to me bending my wrists too far back during military presses which I haven't had trouble with since. Moving furniture for a living didn't help either. As for the 100's, I use them on flat press no problem and have even done them for something like 6 reps before on incline but that day I just wasn't feeling my strongest and I was tiring too quickly.

UPDATE: Well, this week feature 2 papers, 2 exams, a quiz, and a lab assignment being due so I haven't trained since monday. Most of that work is behind me now so I'll be able to train legs later today. Thanks go out to all those who read. Take care and look for an update a little later.

Pumba - I certaintly hit the legs hard today and I appreciate your encouragement. I'll check out your log in a bit but I'm really hoping you hit that PB because I hit some myself today :xyxthumbs:

So Glex had 7 hours or so worth of engineering homework to do (or so he says) so I'm training solo today. I've had a really busy week with two exams, two papers, and a lab assignment all due but I've pretty much wrapped that all up now. Here was today's leg session. I'm very happy with it...

Date: 10.12.06

Time of Workout: 8:15pm

Meals Before Workout: 4

Duration: 50 min

Legs
BB Front Squats
Set #1 - 135 pounds x 12 reps
Set #2 - 225 pounds x 8 reps
Set #3 - 255 pounds x 8 reps
Set #4 - 275 pounds x 8 reps
...PB

Hack Squats...second time ever doing them (weight listed does not include sled)
Set #1 - 180 pounds x 10 reps
Set #2 - 270 pounds x 10 reps
Set #3 - 360 pounds x 6 reps
...PB

SLDL
Set #1 - 135 pounds x 20 reps
Set #2 - 185 pounds x 20 reps
Set #3 - 225 pounds x 8 reps

One-Legged Leg Press (reps are for each leg)
Set #1 - 250 pounds x 10 reps
Set #2 - 340 pounds x 10 reps
Set #3 - 430 pounds x 8 reps
...PB

Seated Hamstring Curl (16 total settings on machine)
Set #1 - Setting #8 x 12 reps
Set #2 - Setting #10 x 8 reps
Set #3 - Setting #6 x 15 reps

...that's it for today. I had a great pump in my quads after those hacks and was happy I was able to push on through despite feeling sick the entire time. Remind me never to have coffee right before going to the gym again; this was almost the second leg day in a row where I got sick. That's all she wrote, until next time: hit 'em up :weightlifter:

Fuck yeah bro, awesome wheels training. That is one sick looking workout and to think you actually felt sick damn big effort mate. All the PB's awesome stuff too. Very motivating.

I won't be in for legs for another 3 hours so stay tuned. It's hot here today so I hope I'm not drained at all, I hate hot days.

Oh and Line,........Don't have coffee just before you go to the gym........you asked to be reminded looooool.:bowroflarms:

BB - I think I was just feeling sick/dehydrated because I had coffee so close to working out so that should be no problem from now on but I appreciate it. Getting 8 with 275 was a big milestone for me because the bar used to slip alot on me and I've recently changed my grip on it and it seems to be paying off...can't wait to put up three plates with them!

Mango - Thanks a lot bro, those certaintly were kind words. Glad you stopped in :2:

Pumba - LOL, thanks ass. I'll be looking forward to checking out your log later in the afternoon after my nap :xyxthumbs:

Chesticles - My hamstrings are so damn sore from them today that I'm definitely going to have to start doing them more often. It's a nice change of pace from the same monotous lying leg curls each time. Thanks bro.
