Great sessions man. That 455 will come quick enough especially with the rate you're going after your lay-off, Those back shots are great. Superb thickness indeed - gonna look mighty fine come cutting time!

Alright, everyone, I got around to training legs tonight. Pretty short session as I got a terrible, terrible night's sleep and ended up taking a long nap in afternoon. I didn't feel incredible throughout the session but overall, I'm pretty happy with my numbers and it just felt great to get in the gym and get legs out of the way, LOL.

I was training by myself again tonight so I really didn't want to push things too much but overall I'm happy with the way my legs are feeling. Tomorrow I'm going to squeeze in Back/Shoulders, back will probably be for width (because I need it, LOL).

In the past I have not had much sleep and then my workout is better, it's a funny thing.

Did you have jelly legs after all that weight or are you kinda used to it?

Are your standing calve raise with free weights?

BB - My legs are feeling killed after those Squats and SLDL's yesterday. I'll probably keep those both in my routine, especially on those days where I have to get in and out of the gym fast. Glad you stopped by, brother.

Tweak - I didn't do anything else because I had to be in and out of the gym in less than 45 minutes. I'll get back to doing leg presses soon, but lately I've liked hack squats a little better. Maybe I'll throw in leg press to make you happy next time :wave:

Mak - Thanks, bro. One thing I've really been working on is maintaining strength throughout my workout and also doing less "warmup sets" on my secondary exercises. Always happy to see you post.

Scoular - LOL at "Blimey!" I love that British slang. To answer your questions, my legs were already really tired and I had trouble walking the few blocks from the gym back to my apartment, so yes, I definitely had jelly legs post-workout. As for my calf raises, it's a machine, only because it's so much more convenient than loading and unloading a barbell. Thanks for posting.

TO - Thanks, bro. Next time I train legs with my training partner I will without a doubt have 405 on the bar; that's a promise. Thanks for the compliments, but I'm actually hoping to improve my close-grips and Tweak wants me to DB Press the 130's for reps soon, LOL.

I still expect those db rows to improve :no: I'll give you some major props for doing everything quickly though, hell this coudl have been considered a cardio session with this amount of weight and volume :eek4:

Military Press is great, but damn you, 1 rep better then me a couple weeks ago, that better improve though, I want to see you putting up 225 and in a few months 260 :spy:
